Ceylon Biscuits Ltd secured the Gold Award at the
National Business Excellence Awards 2009



 

The Ceylon Biscuits Ltd won the Gold Award at the National Business Excellence Awards 2009. The award Ceremony was held on Thursday, 26th November 2009 at Colombo Hilton. NBEA 2009 is the sixth annual National Business Excellence Awards competition conducted by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka. Out of 280 companies participated at the competition, Ceylon Biscuits Ltd won the Gold Award while Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel and Sampath Bank PLC winning Silver Awards. There was no Bronze Award awarded.  National Business Excellence Awards is an annual overall business benchmark competition at which the companies contributing to socio economic development of the country whilst practicing exemplary business practices are awarded. Applications for the NBEA 2009 were technically evaluated by a team of highly qualified professionals and the final selection was made by an expert Panel of Judges headed by Dr Uditha Liyanage, Director, Postgraduate Institute of Management

National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka was awarded a Prestigious Award

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) was awarded a prestigious award by the World Chamber Congress at the sixth World Chamber Competition conducted recently in Malaysia.
