
"TRAINING ON CERAMIC TECHNOLOGY"
In the People’s Republic of China (FUJIAN PROVINCE)
The National Chamber of Commerce in association with the Sri Lankan Embassy in China will be sending a group of 20 people to the Fujian Province of the Peoples Republic of China for training on Ceramic Technology (Manufacturing). Training will be conducted by a group of well experienced technical staff at ceramic manufacturing factories in the Fujian Province from 21st – 25th March 2010.
Trainees will be trained on manufacture of table ware, tile ware, floor tiles, wall tiles and on ornamental ware. The programme includes;
1.Visits to Chinese factories that apply new technology in production.
2.A detailed study on Green Ware making (Forming, Battery Casting and High Pressure Casting areas)
3.A detailed study on the measures they have taken to reduce the energy cost especially in Biscuit and Glost Firing areas.
4.Mould making
5.Ceramic firing
6.Ceramic hand painting
7.Model making
8.Spray glazing
Due to the close relationship NCCSL enjoys with the China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Fujian Sub Council, the training will be offered at a concessionary price.
The above fee includes:
• Hotel accommodation from 21 - 25 March 2010 with breakfast.
• Visa fee for Hong Kong (transit)
• Visa fee for China
• Cost of Air ticket on economy class and internal travelling in China
• Airport pickups and drops
• Coordination and administration cost
NOTE:
a.The participants will have to bear the cost of lunch for days prior to 21st March and after 25th March if any.
b.Participants will also have to bear the cost of dinner for the entire duration by themselves.
Any other costs than those mentioned above will have to be borne by the individual participants.
If you wish to join the delegation, kindly reserve your place by returning the attached reply form along with an advance of 60% through a cheque drawn in favour of "The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka" on or before February 22, 2010. The Balance 40% is payable before 4th March 2010.
You are kindly required to hand over the passport (at least with 06 months validity) along with the duly filled visa application form/s, two colour photographs (passport size), a copy of the business registration certificate and a letter from the company you represent.
